?RALEIGH, N.C. -?It wasn?t just Charlotte area residents who attended the 2013 Governor's Inauguration in Raleigh this weekend.
Several marching bands and floats were also in the parade. Some shared a special connection with Governor Pat McCrory and First Lady Ann McCrory. Catawba College, which is the governor's alma mater, had its marching band entertain the crowd.
Representing animal welfare and adoption, which is near and dear to the McCrory?s hearts, was the Humane Society of Charlotte. That?s where the family adopted their beloved dog Moe.
