Microsoft has unleashed a new proof-of-concept video of a system showcasing its future vision for projected visualisations.
Unveiled at CES 2013, the video shows how the system ? dubbed IllumiRoom ? could alter the appearance of a living room,?induce apparent motion or extend the field of view when playing a video game, all thanks to Kinect and a projector.
?Our system uses the appearance and the geometry of the room (captured by Kinect) to adapt the projected visuals in real-time without any need to custom pre-process the graphics,? says the platform holder.?Catch the full video, which Microsoft assures to have been captured live, below.
